ok, new to forum, have a potenial dumb question...... I've built two guitars, first two I just did reinforced necks, no adjustments, just a steel rod. On the third I ordered a Martin style truss rod that is 14 inches, but seems too short, it's suppose to be adjusable from soundhole, but then it's well short of the headstock, like the last 4 inches of my channel will be empty Is this ok? Or do I need to order a longer truss? Thanks for any input!! JD |

yes it is adjusted from the sound hole but the rod is only about 1/2 in from the neck block. you have about 3 in from the sound hole to the barrel nut on the rod |
